Whenever we live out our daily lives. More often than not we may encounter strife or circumstances that go against your way. Your day may start well but an argument with someone may wreck your entire day. That is only when you let it. The real enemy is not the person you are arguing with. It’s the principalities behind the scenes that triggered the argument in the first place. The real war is against the principalities trying to wreck your day to make you miss out on the things of God. As I was writing this post, the internet connection had a problem at first for quite a long while. When the connection was back, the browser kept crashing. The circumstances weren’t the real problem. Why else would circumstances try to go against such a powerful post from coming to fruition? God doesn’t battle his own word. The war I was fighting against was different.
Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.“
It requires a spiritual mind to discern this. You cannot grasp the concept if you are not in the spirit. It will all seem non-sense to you.
1 corinthians 2:14: “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
The only way to discern spiritual things is with a spiritual mind. The only way to prevail in the war is to be one with the spirit of God. That is how you obtain peace. A powerful tool of warfare.
Romans 8:6: “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
There are things that the enemy will try to bring your way that will try to prevent you from obtaining the spiritual mindset because he knows if you gain that insight, his battle is vanity. Contend for that position in spirit because that is where you will have the most powerful tools of Spiritual warfare which is at work daily whether you acknowledge it or not.
2 corinthians 10:3-5: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.“
A thought taken captive unto the submission and obedience of Christ always produces a winner. Human reasoning, false arguments, and made up imaginations always try to exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. They prevent people from knowing God. That is how the carnal mind is developed. That is how one is defeated.
Submit to Christ and develop a spiritual mind. Prevail in warfare! The battle is not against flesh and blood.
